How to Turn your Phone Screen Red
Quick guide on turning your iPhone screen red to avoid blue light exposure!
Artificial & blue light after sunset disrupts our circadian rhythm, negatively impacting:
sleep
detoxification
hormone production
metabolism
healing
& more.
Of course, there are situations where we aren’t able to sit in darkness or candlelight every single night - luckily, there are things that we can do to mitigate the damage of exposure to light at night, including using the red iPhone screen shortcut!
Setting up the Red iPhone Screen Shortcut
Open settings
“Accessibility”
“Display & Text Size”
“Color Filters”
“Turn On Color Filters”
Slide the intensity bar almost all the way to the right
Slide the hue bar almost all the way to the right
Go back into accessibility
Click “Accessibility Shortcuts”
Select “Color Filters” so that a checkmark appears next to it
Now you can triple click your lock button to switch in & out of “red screen mode”!
I recommend using this feature to switch your phone screen to red as the sun starts going down. Keep your phone red throughout the evening, night, and following morning until about 10am to avoid excessive blue light when our bodies are not designed to be exposed to it.
Be wild & well,

Sydne just showed me how to do this a few days ago. Now I turn my phone red every night. It feels great to not wake my brain up if I need to check the time in the middle of the night.
